Stroke Rehabilitation
Stroke Rehabilitation is known to reduce disability and dependence for stroke survivors, and evidence shows that more is better.
St. Joseph's Hospital is host to two rehabilitation services.
Both have interprofessional teams that provide specialized, client-centred rehabilitative care to people with stroke and their families.

Inpatient Special Rehabilitation Service - 3 North
Provides high intensity, time limited, interprofessional rehabilitation, with a focus on clients with neurological conditions
Outpatient Neurology Rehabilitation
Provides assessment and treatment to clients living with neurological conditions
Includes the Neurology Day Program and Neurology Single Discipline Services
